Nana and Papa came to visit and we had so much fun! Daddy and Papa took Caroline to the park and helped her on her scooter. We celebrated Mommy's 31st birthday together with Caroline choosing the cake before the lunch and helping blow out the candles. Nana and Papa kept Eleanor laughing and laughing! Caroline learned a new song from Nana and Nana also took her to pick out new sneakers! Mommy even got some much needed ALONE time while Nana watched the girls! Thanks for a great visit Nana and Papa! We all had so much fun!

Back to the Routine
I feel like ever since Eleanor had RSV in Dec. that someone has been sick in our house. It makes it very hard to stay on top of things. For the past two weeks everyone was sick. You know it's bad when the pharmacist at our local Walgreen's knows you by sight and name.Brett and I had colds that turned into sinus infections. Caroline had pink eye and then passed it to Ella who also got a cold. I swear, my littlest has been sick way too much for a four month old. 3 ear infections already, RSV and a cold is just ridiculous! Ever since this last cold, Ella has been waking up about 3-4 times each night b/c she is having trouble breathing through her nose and then fusses for sometimes up to an hour. I'm sure that Brett and I would have been feeling better a lot sooner, had me been getting SOME sleep! Hopefully, now that she seems to be feeling better the last couple of days, she'll sleep better.
I'll have to post some new pictures and video soon though. I have some cute ones from the last couple of weeks.

Eleanor at 3 1/2 months
Eleanor rolled over for the first time on Friday! She wasn't very happy about it though. She does not like being on her tummy! She also does not like pacifiers. We have tried from the beginning to soothe her with a pacifier and every time it just gets spit right back out. She would much rather try to suck on her entire fist instead!
Eleanor is getting so big and at a Dr.'s appt. last week she was 14 lbs. 3 oz! She is doing great sleeping at night. SHe usually goes to sleep around 9p, and will sleep until about 4:30-6am for another bottle. She'll go right back to sleep when she is done eating for about another 2-3 hours. We're just working on getting into a nap schedule. It's definitely a lot harder with the second child and getting them on a nap schedule, when you already have a toddler that needs to be active in the morning! I have a feeling Eleanor's morning nap will usually be on the go (otherwise I'd be stuck home all day!) while I have been trying to put both Caroline and Eleanor down for afternoon naps at about 1:30pm.
She is a very happy baby and has been laughing out loud more and more, which makes us laugh out loud, too! It has been a lot of fun seeing our littlest one grow!
Mischief Maker
Caroline has definitely gotten into her share of mischief lately. First it was the baby doll incident. Then she pumped out into her hands and into the sink an entire bottle of liquid soap while "washing her hand by herself". Next she thought it was necessary to unroll a whole roll of toilet paper and try to flush it all down the toilet (that one definitely id not go over to well when mommy had to try to fish out most of the paper before it was flushed!)! You can't say she isn't curious. Maybe she is just doing experiments and will be a famous scientist one day???
Poor Baby!
I was walking by Caroline's playroom the other day wondering why it smelled so "fruity". Well, it turns out she took a stick of cherry chapstick and painted her doll's face and mouth with it until the doll's entire face was shiny and pink! We had a little discussion after to talk about why "Baby" does not need chapstick and how it will be awhile until Caroline does, too!
